GM Strikes Again

OK, so I am a HUGE corvette fan, always have been. I hope to one day own a ‘vette and I have always been a supporter, and I try to support GM as a whole.  But this is just rediculous.  Apparently GM had some problems with the roof panels of the 2005-2006 Corvette blowing off!  Check out the article here.

This is Chevy’s flagship car! This is their top of the line model, this will cost you $45k for the stripped down base version and well over $70K for thier Z06 model, and they can’t figure out how to keep the roof on?  It’s not like a bolt sheers off, or there was something that broke, the glue let go, THEY GLUE THE ROOF ON!  This is their top of the line sports car which is going to see some speeds slightly over your highway 55 miles an hour for the people spending more than I make in a year (and I am not making minimum wage by any stretch of the imagination), I think they can rightfully expect something a little more rigid than…..glue to hold their performance vehicle together.

The best part, the official fix from Chevy dealers?  You guessed it, glue it back on and hope for the best!

OK, well, it’s a badass car, but serious, find a more permanent way to put it together, please?
